Rated in the top 2% of the world's coffees, Flores Del Cafe is surely something special. One of the reasons, is that it is exclusively produced by the women of Jinotega, Nicaragua. This is enabling them to buy their own land and gain access to credit and business development loans.
In Jinotega, women only have 15% of the land titles, which are fundamental to accessing micro credits and loans for production and other economic activities. The objective of 'Flores del Café' is for these families to develop steady sources of income.
Great Northern Larder also uses recyclable packaging, in the form of a stylish tin! With notes of apple, strawberry, jasmin and vanilla - this is a sweet blend with an even sweeter purpose.
